Exercise used to work the legs in general, with similarities to the barbell version and ideal for those who have problems with their back or lower back.
Main muscles: Quadriceps, glutes and hamstrings.
Hold the dumbbells in a neutral position, close to your body, with your feet slightly apart as in the image above.
Go down to the knee line and contract the abdominals and lower back during the movement.
Go up to the starting position and repeat the movement.
- Bend your back.
- Go too low.
- Bring your knees too far forward.
