What is a super series?
A superset (or superset) is when you choose two exercises and do them in a row, with no rest in between.
They can be exercises for the same muscle or for two different muscles.
Example 1
Superseries
Chest press with dumbbells – 5 sets x 8 reps
Openings – 5 sets x 8 reps
In this case, you would start by doing 8 reps of the dumbbell chest press, and as soon as you finished those 8 reps, you would immediately move to the openings and do 8 reps of this exercise.
Only at the end of the openings would you have a rest period.
In this case it would be a superset for the same muscle, chest.
Example 2
Superseries
Tricep with forehead barbell - 3 sets x 10 repetitions
Curl bicep with barbell - 3 sets x 10 repetitions
In this example, you would start with the barbell tricep exercise, perform 10 reps, and at the end of these 10 repetitions of the forehead barbell tricep exercise, you would immediately move to the barbell bicep curl exercise, without rest.
It wasn't until the end of the bicep curl that a series of this superset was ended and the beginning of a short rest period.
In this case it would be a superset for two different and antagonistic muscles, tricep and bicep.
