How and why did you start training?
I started training because I had stopped dancing and felt a deep need to continue exercising.
I have always been involved with sport, having already practiced swimming, horse riding and dancing.
The gym was an occupation that came about when I was looking for a new sport. Fortunately, I discovered bodybuilding.
What made you want to compete?
The thirst for more.
I fully support everyone who does what they do simply for the sport of it.
Fortunately, I can't stop at just pleasing myself.
I need and have always needed to show everyone what I fought every day to have, whether in horse riding or even in dancing.
What type of diet do you follow?
I follow a restricted diet in pre-competition time and a softer diet when I am in the off-season, that is, without competitions coming up.
I have a food plan for any phase, only varying the quantity and some breaks I can take.
That said, the basis of my diet is as follows:
- White and red meats
- Rice
- Sweet potato
- Eggs
- Oat
- Pasta
- Vegetables (Lots!)
What type of training do you follow?
I train six times a week and divide my workouts into the main muscle groups: Back, shoulders, glutes, quadriceps, arms and hamstrings.
The sequence is always alternated between superiors and inferiors, as it should always be, due to the rest time that must be given.
What are your three favorite exercises?
I never chose my three favorite exercises.
However, if I had to choose them suddenly, the shoulder press, hip abduction and any unilateral shoulder exercise immediately come to mind.
In superseries or drop sets, pure love!
Where does your motivation come from?
About me and what I want for the near and distant future.
They say that the size of the cross is never bigger than what we can carry, and if it is, I'll pick it up and squat!
What supplements do you use?
It depends on the stage I'm in, just like everything.
The ones I always use are:
Goals for the future, what are they?
Like all bodybuilders, my greatest achievement of all is, without a doubt, stepping on the Olympia stage in Las Vegas.
However, I still have a long way to go to get there.
For the near future, I'm just working to maintain my sponsorships, continue competing in as many competitions as I can that are best for my resume, and above all, continue to enjoy it as much as I do now.
Any tips in particular for those just starting out?
Always believe in what you are and what you will become in two, three, ten years.
We are always capable of everything we really want and we have lots of living examples to believe that. Just love what they do.
Another tip: Don't be in a hurry.
Love the process as if it were the last thing you would do in your life.
