What is a Giant Set?
Like supersets and trisets, giant sets are based on exercises done consecutively, without rest.
In this case, the only difference between supersets and trisets is that in giant sets you do 4 or more exercises in a row.
Example
Giant Set
Flat Bench Press – 4 sets x 8 repetitions
Openings – 4 sets x 8 repetitions
Bottoms – 4 sets x 8 repetitions
Push-ups – 4 sets x 8 reps
You start with 8 repetitions of bench press, immediately move to the splits and perform 8 repetitions, then do 8 repetitions of bottoms and finish with 8 repetitions of push-ups.
All this is done in a row, without resting between each exercise, resting only at the end of the push-ups.
This is an example of a giant set.
