The brand describes the product as a formula aimed at people who have difficulty gaining weight.

Carbohydrates

Polymers of Glucose, Dextrose, Modcarb (Oats, Amaranth, Quinoa, Buckwheat, Millet and Chia), Corn Starch and Dextrin.[/toggle]

Muscletech Cell-Tech is sold above all as a Creatine supplement, however, it is made up of 77% of carbohydrates.

Muscletech does not reveal the amount of each of them used, but the two main ones are obvious: Glucose and Dextrose Polymers.

Taking into account that a large part of Cell Tech's sugars are provided by Dextrose, and this is the second largest source of carbohydrates in the product, it is expected that the amount of Glucose Polymers will be similar, or higher.

Glucose Polymers, also known as Maltodextrin, are quite similar to Dextrose, also known as Glucose.

These are extremely fast-absorbing carbohydrates, which will trigger insulin levels.

Insulin is a hormone that maximizes nutrient absorption and promotes anabolism, but also stops the fat burning process, and in the same way that it leads to an increase in lean mass, it also promotes an increase in fat mass.

It basically puts the body into storage mode.

Muscle Growth and Strength Matrix

[toggle title=”Ingredients” state=”close” ]Creatine Monohydrate (3.5g) and Creatine HCl (1.5g).[/toggle]

This is the matrix where Creatine is found and there are two types used.

Creatine Monohydrate you probably already know, it is the most studied and considered the ideal form of Creatine supplementation, and is present in a dose of 3.5g.

Creatine HCl is a lesser-known form of Creatine, which apparently appears to be similar in effectiveness to the monohydrate form, and makes up 1.5g of this matrix.

Therefore, for each dose you can count on 5g of Creatine, the dose normally recommended for those using this type of supplementation.

In terms of Creatine, Cell-Tech is well served.

Amino Acid Matrix for Cellular Volumization

[toggle title=”Ingredients” state=”close” ]Taurine (1g) and L-Alanine (500mg).[/toggle]

This matrix with a highly appealing name consists of two amino acids.

One of them is Taurine, which is present in a dose of 1g.

Taurine may have slight benefits and is present in a good dose, however the benefits? if they exist? they will be very light indeed.

L-Alanine, a non-essential amino acid, is here, but it could not be, as it doesn't bring much to the equation, if anything at all.

Attention, do not confuse L-Alanine with the famous Beta-Alanine.

Basically, don't expect a lot of muscle volumization from this matrix.

BCAA matrix

[toggle title=”Ingredients” state=”close” ]L-Leucine (500mg), L-Isoleucine (250mg) and L-Valine (250mg).[/toggle]

You BCAA's There are three amino acids with an important role in the growth and maintenance of muscle mass, mainly Leucine.

However, don't rely too much on Cell-Tech's BCAA matrix, as the dose is extremely low.

Supplementation with this type of product is normally done in a dose of 5g.

The dose found in Cell-Tech is just 1g.

Lipoic-Tech

[toggle title=”Ingredients” state=”close” ]R-ALA (100mg)[/toggle]

Finally, Muscletech Cell-Tech has R-ALA.

R-ALA is a fatty acid with anti-oxidant properties, and according to This one study, may increase the absorption of Creatine in the muscles.

There's just one problem.

The study used 1g of R-ALA.

Cell-Tech uses only 1/10 of this dose, that is, 100mg.

How to take?

Creatine supplementation is normally done in two ways.

With or without charging phase.

In the loading phase, a dose of 20g is normally used for around 5 days, which will lead to you noticing results sooner.

Without a loading phase, a dose of 5g is normally used every day.

However, as you may have already noticed, Muscletech Cell-Tech is not a traditional Creatine supplement.

According to the brand, you can take one dose per day, but for best results, you should take two.

If you want the best results, in this case Muscletech already recommends using the loading phase, in which for 7 days you should use 2 doses in the morning and 2 doses after training/end of the day.

That is, 200g of Cell-Tech per day.

So what is the best way to take Cell-Tech?

Taking into account the composition of this product, our recommendation is just 1 dose per day, after training, and accompanied by a protein shake.

On non-training days, you can use it at any time, but if you feel a sharp drop in energy after taking this supplement for some time, you should adjust it according to your day.

It is important to highlight that supplementation must be done every day.

Assessment

With this supplement you will definitely notice results and gain weight.

After all, you will be ingesting industrial amounts of sugar, especially if you follow the brand's more extreme instructions.

On the other hand, much of the weight you will gain will probably be fat and water.

Combining carbohydrates with Creatine after training makes sense, but it must be accompanied by protein, something that Muscletech Cell-Tech does not contain.

In this case, perhaps it would be an interesting supplement for certain individuals.

Is it 0.93? per shake in the size of 1360g and 0.65? in the biggest bucket.

With this money you can buy carbohydrates, Creatine and a protein supplement to use after training.

In the process you will be able to obtain better results and save money.

In our opinion, Cell-Tech is not a good buy.
