Interview with athlete Rui Ferreira.
This time we interviewed Rui Ferreira, an athlete with a name not only in Portugal but also with excellent results abroad!
Some of Rui's competitions and results:
I started training at César Sport Gym, in Quinta da Luz, in 1992, under the influence of a great friend, Pedro Jardim and because I was very skinny and frail at the time.
I am not a ?slave? 100% diet, I eat everything and only dedicate myself to the diet when I have competitive goals.
As long as my metabolism allows it, I think I'll keep going!

100 grams of Oats with 50 grams of protein

100 grams of rice
100 grams of broccoli

150 grams of baked potatoes
Salad
Middle of the afternoon
1 can of tuna
3 egg whites
To have lunch
200 grams of chicken
100 grams of rice
100 grams of broccoli
OR

I normally train between Monday and Friday, 4 times a week.
Training is normally regulated by what I need to balance and according to the demands that I am aware of in competitive terms, without having any specific model that I constantly follow.
I increase my caloric intake in terms of simple carbohydrates and try to maintain a regular protein intake.
As I can't eat much, I always try to manage things according to my availability and predisposition.
From my Family, especially my brother, my shadow, who goes with me everywhere and never leaves me, and from my Friends, for them EVERYTHING!
As long as they are here for me and I feel capable, I will be on stage.
That has LOTS OF PATIENCE, as results do not appear overnight.
There's no point in wanting to jump or ?burn? stages, as they will always return to the same thing and, above all, choose the people they surround themselves with well.
I was LUCKY to be with the same trainer for about 20 years.
I would like to thank Ginasio Virtual for the opportunity to talk a little about me and make me known.
I hope I can serve in some way as ?support? to anyone who is already in this world or is thinking about starting.
