What is Glutamine?

THE Glutamine is the amino acid with the greatest presence in the human body.

It is a non-essential amino acid, because the body can synthesize it, but it can be promoted to be conditionally essential in certain situations, such as diseases.

It is usually sold as a supplement to increase the muscle mass, anti-catabolic and improvement in muscle recovery.

It can be beneficial for those who practice resistance / long duration exercise or for vegetarian diets, already in healthy people, so far the studies are not very promising and the effects are questionable.
