Exercise used to work the legs overall similar to the barbell version and ideal for those with back or lower back problems.
Main muscles: Quadriceps, glutes and hamstrings.
Hold the dumbbells in a neutral position, close to your body, with your feet slightly apart as in the image above.
Go down to your knees and contract your abs and lower back as you move.
Go up to the starting position and repeat the movement.
- Bend your back.
- Go too low.
- Bring your knees too far forward.
