How and why did you start training?
I started training at César Sport Gym, in Quinta da Luz, in 1992, under the influence of a great friend, Pedro Jardim and because he was very thin and slight at the time.
What kind of food do you follow?
I'm not a ?slave? I eat everything and I only dedicate myself to 100% to diet when I have competitive goals.
As long as my metabolism permits, I think I will continue!

150 grams of baked potato
Salad
Middle of the afternoon

150 grams of baked potato
Salad

What kind of training do you follow?
I usually train between Monday and Friday, 4 times a week.
The training is usually regulated by what I need to balance and according to the requirements that I have a notion in competitive terms, having no specific model that follows constantly.
What are the main differences when you want to gain weight and when you want to lose fat?
I increase my caloric intake to the level of simple carbohydrates and I try to maintain my regular protein intake.
Since I can't eat a lot, I always try to manage things according to my availability and predisposition.
Where does your motivation come from?
My family, especially my brother, my shadow, who goes with me everywhere and never leaves me, and my friends, for EVERYTHING!
As long as they are here for me and I feel capable, I will be on stage.
What supplements do you use?
- Multivitamin
- Protein
- Post-workout recuperator
Any tips in particular for those just starting out?
That has A LOT OF PATIENCE, as the results do not appear overnight.
It's no use wanting to jump or ?burn? stages, as they will always return to the same and, above all, choose well the people they surround themselves with.
I had the LUCK to be with the same trainer for about 20 years.
I thank the Virtual Gym for the opportunity to talk a little about me and make me known.
I hope to be able to serve in some way as a ?support? to those who already walk in this world or are thinking about starting.
