Whey protein refers to whey protein and is the protein supplement most used by those who work out in the gym.

Whey protein is a source of protein with high biological value and normally a high amount of protein.

There are several types of whey protein, with concentrate and isolate being the most used.

Concentrated whey is cheaper than isolated whey, however, isolated whey has a higher concentration of protein and a lower amount of carbohydrates and fats.
Concentrated whey normally contains around 80% of protein and isolated whey contains around 90%.

Whey protein is typically used after training.
It is also an excellent way to add protein to any meal and increase the protein content of your diet.
