What is Glutamine?
Glutamine is the amino acid with the greatest presence in the human body.
It is a non-essential amino acid because the body can synthesize it, but it can be promoted to conditionally essential in certain situations, such as diseases.
It is typically sold as a supplement for increased muscle mass, anti-catabolic and improved muscle recovery.
It may be beneficial for those who practice resistance/long-term exercise or for vegetarian diets, already in healthy people, so far studies are not very promising and the effects are questionable.
